ROGER & MICHELLE | CASTERTON GRANGE WEDDING
LAKE DISTRICT WEDDINGS
ROGER & MICHELLE | CASTERTON GRANGE WEDDING
Come rain or shine The Lake District National Park is just the perfect backdrop for a wedding day and for Roger & Michelle’s wedding day it was no exception.
THE COUPLE
As Lake District weddings go this one was very special. Let’s start at the very beginning. Roger & Michelle first met when Michelle moved to the Isle of Mann in 2017 and they both completed an 85 mile walk around the coastline of the Isle of Mann, yes you read that correctly, 85 miles, which is known as the Parish Walk. What was supposed to be a group of friends completing the walk ended up with just Roger & Michelle after just a few miles. They talked, laughed, and supported each other for the full journey and completed the walk in 22hours and 16minutes.
THE WEDDING DAY
Fast forward to March 2020 after several more adventures around the world they fell in love and got their heart set on getting married with a brand new wedding venue, Casterton Grange. A beautiful manor house set in private gardens and tucked away in the outskirts of Kirkby Lonsdale. As storm Ciara hit the UK bringing gale-force winds of over 90mph, heavy rain with snow and ice they said “I do” and regardless of the weather the day was just stunning in every way. I had the honour of creating a cinematic film documenting their day alongside a team of awesome suppliers.
Sit back, turn up the volume and see this beautiful wedding day and a love story like no other.
