FRANCESCA + BEN | WEDDING

Low Hall The Lakes, a beautiful Lake District wedding venue tucked away in Blindbothel in the stunning Lake District National Park. Owners Francesca & Ben opened their doors to hosting weddings back in June 2018 and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the first wedding at Low Hall for Joe & Jenny. So when Fran & Ben asked me to photograph their big day I was blown away and I have to say their carnival themed wedding exceeded every expectation.

THE COUPLE

Fran and Ben first met by chance whilst traveling separately in South America. Fran was heading out exploring on a tour bus, there was one space left on the bus and the driver shouted to see if anyone wanted to take the seat, Ben was outside the hotel and decided to take up the offer. The spare seat was next to Fran, they chatted, explored the sites and hit it off straight away, a chance meeting turned into the perfect love story.

Fast forward a few years after living in London, they wanted to head back up north and fell in love with Low Hall. They bought this beautiful old farmhouse, made it their own, converted the barn into the most awesome Lake District Wedding venue and now it was their time to say “I do” in their own wedding venue, making it even more special.

THE WEDDING DAY

Everything was just perfect, from moments in the woodland where they said their vows, to their first dance, heading down country lanes with a brass band. Incredible in every way.
