On the day, Jono was perfect. He was incredibly professional and worked seamlessly with our videographer (whom he’d never met before) but he was also like a friend you’d have invited along anyway. He was great fun and easy to take photos with but almost disappeared into the background when he didn’t need your attention for the camera. Our guests barely noticed him throughout the day, and he stayed well into the evening – capturing so many amazing dancefloor shots. He even made sure the rings were in the right place before the ceremony!”

Having grown up in and around the Lake District and Cumbria, my love for this area started when I was small. From climbing Scarfell Pike, walking up Catbells, or paddling in Lake Windermere, followed by some famous gingerbread from Grasmere. It was such a magical place to grow up. Having moved away for work, my heart brought me back to the place I held so dear. There is something very special about driving the winding roads, getting stuck behind sheep, and seeing the sunrise over the mountains. As a destination wedding photographer and videographer, I get to travel the world, but The Lake District is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The colours, the landscapes, the water, the mountains. You won’t find a truly more picturesque backdrop for your wedding day.
From manor houses to stately homes, barns to Michelin star hotels or even getting married on top of a mountain, The Lake District has something for everybody.
