This Midland Hotel Wedding in Manchester was elegant, full of fashion with a Gatsby vibe. When I first met Catherine & Andrew and they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was super excited. They talked about their plans for their big day and it all sounded incredible. A wedding full of glamour and elegance, all to be finished off with one hell of a party. Their wedding did not disappoint. It was truly spectacular!
Catherine is a fashion designer from Manchester and her passion definitely influenced her wedding day. From the breathtaking customised Pronovias Atelier wedding dress, Christian Laboutin shoes, one of a kind chunky stone headpiece from Six Penny Bride in Liverpool to her Swarovski Giselle earrings and matching ring. This wedding day was every bit of the vision this couple had in mind.
Midland Hotel in Manchester
The Midland Hotel was the setting for this Art Deco wedding. Set in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Nessled between the Manchester Library and the Central Convention centre, the hotel is the perfect backdrop to a wedding day. Full of character, with it’s art deco staircases and secret little areas. I loved every minute of photographing in this wonderful Manchester wedding venue.
Here’s a little glimpse of how beautiful this wedding truly was.
Before the evening celebrations began we had time to explore the hotel and take the time to get a few special portraits at night.
Catherine & Andrew it was an absolute pleasure to capture your wedding day . Finally, a big thank you to all the other wedding suppliers too. A pleasure to work along side.
