Before heading to France for their beautiful destination wedding at Chateau La Durantie in Dordogne, Sophie & Richard had a secret elopement ceremony at The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa in the Yorkshire Dales. It was an intimate affair with just 6 people and their adorable dog, Dougal. The day was simple yet elegant, exactly how the couple wanted it.

Despite the drizzle, Sophie & Richard embraced the weather and it turned out to be an incredible decision. The photos from their UK elopement are stunning, and I can only imagine how amazing their French celebrations will be.

I really can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day in France. From what I’ve seen of their UK elopement, it’s clear that their French celebration will be off the charts in terms of elegance, romance, and luxury.
