Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing the intimate elopement of James and Frances (plus 2 of their best friends) at The Merewood Hotel, a charming manor house wedding venue in the Lake District. From the moment I arrived, I could sense that this elopement was going to be truly remarkable.

The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, and it was evident that their elopement was going to be special. James and Frances, completely in love, radiated joy and happiness throughout the day. It was pure pleasure to capture and be part of.

Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Lake District, the Merewood provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration whilst saying “I do” whilst down by the Lake gave the perfect backdrop as the sun shone across the beautiful landscape.

This intimate elopement was truly a dream to photograph. It embodied everything a good wedding day should. Elegance, romance, and of course some fun. Being able to photograph and document such a wonderful celebration of love was an absolute joy.
